The Kuźnia team

About the instructor

Mateusz studies mathematics and computer science at the University of Warsaw. At Kuźnia, he teaches preparation courses for the Polish Olympiad in Informatics and the Polish Junior Olympiad in Informatics. He works with students on algorithmic thinking, choosing appropriate methods and turning ideas into correct programming solutions.

While still in secondary school, he began working on Duckling, a new programming language. He develops the compiler core and virtual machine architecture in C++.

He also gained teaching experience as a mentor at the 2025 Summer Camp of Olimpijskie Koło Informatyczne, leading advanced workshops on algorithms, data structures and strategies for solving Olympiad problems. He also ran regular algorithm workshops for students at High School No. 5 in Kraków as part of the MAP project.

Before joining the teaching team, he attended Kuźnia's lessons and workshops himself. He therefore knows Kuźnia from both perspectives: as a learner and as an Olympiad instructor.
